SiriusXM Interview with Founding Members of The Christian Left, July, 2021

The founding members of The Christian Left appeared on SiriusXM's "Tell Me Everything," with John Fugelsang, on July 29th.

Among other things they discussed the new bestselling book on Amazon, "The Christian Left: How Liberal Thought Has Hijacked the Church," by Lucas Miles. Spoiler alert, they don't agree with the premise of the book.

They went on to discuss the history of how The Christian Right was engineered in the late 70's by a group of people dedicated to politicizing the church and making the church a mouthpiece for fundamentalist, conservative ideology. Their plan was wildly successful. It created a billion dollar messaging empire that remains in place to this day.

Finally they wrap up with what they are hopeful about looking forward after 12 years engaged with this ministry on a daily basis.

The Christian Left is a full-fledged ministry for Christian progressives and their allies. We base everything we say and do on the teachings of Jesus. We have two ordained ministers on staff and everyone else on staff is a passionate, Christian progressive activist. We’ve dedicated our lives to this mission and we need your help.

We're rolling out a new website within days. It will have increased functionality across the board. In October we'll be hitting the road for a gathering with strategic partners. Among the things to be discussed will be our plan of action for 2022. All kinds of exciting things are in the works!
